SAZ-Agri is a division of ShareAfricaZambia. It was established to give farmers in Eastern Province access to quality seed and to mechanize their farming processes. The company develops and produces quality seed and supplies grain. It also supports farmers in number of ways with training, inputs and mechanization. Find out more about SAZ-Agri here.
Seed Sales
SAZ-Agri produces seed for groundnuts, soya beans and sunflowers. These are grown by small holder farmers who receive loans to assist them in purchasing quantities of seed and the produce is purchased at a premium to ensure household food security and profitability.

Seed Development
Recognising the effects of climate change bringing hotter temperatures and less rain, SAZ-Agri is developing its own early maturing seed varieties. These are more drought and disease resistant and ideal for emerging conditions.
Community Support
SAZ-Agri’s mission is to improve the livelihood of small holder farmers so they can fulfill their economic potential and alleviate poverty. Scheme include seed loans, guaranteed buy back, training, inputs, mechanization support etc.
